Story Telling

Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg, is a heart wrenching story that tells about the Holocaust.  In which a man Oskar Schindler, who began as a man who was just driven by money. This tells about the actions of man are something that is usually overlooked in society. That we are innately selfish. All we ever think about is ourselves and what we can do to succeed. When money becomes involved, it becomes the root of all evil. It controls every aspect of ones life. Since money is what is used to control our societies, we desire to have something that helps us feel like we have more control. Man just dwells in what is in it for himself. this movie shows that one can easily be corrupted by something so simple as money without realizing how it could affect thousands of people. This Movie not only emphasizes the harsh reality that Jewish men, women, and children were put through, but it emphasizes the corruption of society as a whole. We often become too self centered to realize how our actions or lack of actions is killing thousands of innocent lives.
